Bodum Coffee Maker is a glass carafe for making the pour-over coffee. It comes from Denmark, which explains why it looks so much better than those plastic machines that make loud noises and bad brown water.

Bodum Pour Over Coffee Maker has a stainless steel filter, so you do not need the paper circles. This is good because paper steals the oils. In America, they like to throw things away, but here we keep the flavor and the filter. It holds 1 liter – enough to survive a dark winter morning or a long talk about furniture.

Bodum started in Copenhagen in 1944. It is very Danish: simple and functional. Now they are in Switzerland, probably for the taxes or the mountains, but the soul is still in the North.
