Engineered in Barcelona from 100% food-grade platinum silicone and BPA-free polypropylene, the Lékué Collapsible Mug To Go holds 350 ml (11.8 fl oz) of hot or cold coffee when expanded and accordion-folds down to a 6-centimetre disc when empty. Equipped with a leak-proof screw lid and an insulated heat-grip band, it fits inside a coat pocket or small daypack without the bulk of a rigid metal flask.

Does platinum silicone make hot coffee taste like rubber?
No – and that is the exact chemical difference between platinum-cured silicone and cheap peroxide-cured silicone. Cheap silicone travel cups smell faintly of plastic when filled with 90°C espresso and retain stale milk odours forever.
Lékué uses pure platinum as the curing catalyst (the same medical and baby-bottle standard used in our Lékué foldable popcorn maker). It is completely odourless, non-porous, and tasteless from -20°C up to 100°C.
How does it prevent scalded fingers or leaks inside a bag?
A rigid, removable polypropylene collar wraps around the middle of the cup so you can squeeze and lift the full 350 ml mug without the soft silicone walls buckling in your hand.
When you finish drinking, you compress the accordion rings down to 6 cm high, snap the top drinking tab shut, and lock the collar – sealing any remaining coffee drops inside so your bag stays dry.
Can you reheat cold coffee in the microwave?
Unlike stainless steel flasks that cannot go anywhere near a microwave, the entire Lékué cup is microwave safe (up to 1 minute to warm cooled coffee) and 100% dishwasher safe. Because the drinking lid can be threaded on at two different angles, it works comfortably for both right-handed and left-handed drinkers.
