Why heavy-walled soda-lime glass does not tip over
Cheap machine-pressed glass vases have thin walls and light bases, meaning the moment you put top-heavy hydrangeas or branches inside, the whole thing tips over onto your books.
Cloudnola builds the internal hourglass seal with a thick, weighted glass bridge in the middle. Even when you flip the vase so only the shallow top chamber holds water, the heavy lower cylinder acts as a wide, stable counterweight.
Because each piece is mouth-blown by glassmakers rather than stamped in a mould, tiny air bubbles and subtle colour gradients between the amber, cobalt blue, and sage green sections make every cylinder slightly different.
